About the Foundation:
Acting as trustee for the Wyndham Community Cultural Foundation Charitable Trust WCCF is a “Not for Profit (NFP) Charitable Community Foundation ‘ and Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).
Since conducting a successful fundraising campaign in 1999, it has been a catalyst for Arts & Culture in Wyndham helping to fund the construction and ‘fit-out’ of the Wyndham Cultural Centre, containing 500 seat performing Arts Theatre and significant Gallery Space.
For more than 20 years since, the Foundation has worked with local artists, creatives, and community groups to support cultural diversity expressed through various funding rounds & projects in Wyndham.
This is achieved by collaborating, networking & partnering with community stakeholders to support individuals, community groups and collaborative projects.
Join our Board and play a crucial role ensuring the delivery of key programs and projects, providing essential support helping to drive strategic goals and compliance of governance requirements.
Arts Assist is an initiative of the WCCF (2018)
It is a creative and valuable voluntary task group that partners and collaborates to implement artistic and creative endeavours by building community awareness and providing grant funding support, supported by the Board members and community volunteers
About the role of a Board Member:
As a Company Director you will play a key role in guiding the strategic direction of WCCF, providing oversight on governance matters, helping to shape programs and initiatives, and collaborating with other Board members and office bearers the ensure the successful delivery of WCCF’s objectives.
The Board meets quarterly, online/dial in, plus occasional ‘face to face’ in Werribee, to consider governance matters.
Directors are also expected to contribute time towards Arts Assist activities from time to time.
Your involvement will make a tangible impact on the development of arts & culture in Wyndham, fostering a sense of belonging, image, and pride within the community

Key responsibilities:
Advocate for arts & culture within Wyndham and beyond
Attend quarterly board meetings, contribute to ongoing activities, and follow up actions & ideas
Collaborate and work with Arts Assist advisory panel & task group to implement the Foundations strategic objectives
Provide strategic direction and oversight on arts & cultural activities
Support fundraising and grant applications to enhance financial resources for the Foundation
The Board is supported by a paid part time, Office Administrator.
